Professor's Guide to Copyright and Fair Use

A panel of experts, including lawyers, has gotten together to create a guide that can help professors and other educators understand their rights under the 'fair use' clause of copyright.

The Chronicle of Higher Education reports:
A new guide by the university's Center for Social Media offers free legal advice to clarify such issues—and its authors say that the "fair use" provisions of copyright law are more permissive than many professors may think.
