Historical Statistics of the United States

Historical Statistics of the United States is now available to help you find quantitative facts of American history. You can use this database to find statistics on a variety of social, economic, and political topics. The data is fully searchable and can be downloaded into Excel or as an Adobe PDF. You can also create graphs, customized tables, and spreadsheets reflecting your own area of research. Finding HSUS in the future is as easy as going to the alphabetical list of databases. It has also been added to relevant subject guides and to the statistical resources page.

You will have to register if you want to create custom tables. Registration is free. However, you will need to complete the registration process on-campus or after authenticating off-campus to ensure that your account is associated with Muskingum College and OhioLINK.

Please contact the library if you have questions about using this rich statistical resource. We are able to provide this to you through a joint purchase by OhioLINK member libraries.
