Finals Extended Library Hours (snacks included)

The library will be open until midnight Study Day, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We will again have coffee and snacks during the evening hours. Stop by if you're looking for a quiet place to study or just need to print off any last minute papers.

Changes from normal operating hours are in bold.

Study Day, Thursday, May 1: 8 a.m. to 12 Midnight
Friday, May 2: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 3: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, May 4: 1 p.m. to 12 Midnight
Monday, May 5: 8 a.m. to 12 Midnight
Tuesday, May 6: 8 a.m. to 12 Midnight
Wednesday, May 7: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Thursday, May 8: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, May 9: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, May 10: CLOSED
Sunday, May 11: CLOSED

Undergrads...return borrowed items by April 30!

Yes, it's that time of the academic year again. All undergraduate students need to remember to "bring 'em back"!

ALL
items borrowed from the Library are due Wednesday, April 30 by 11 p.m. Items not returned by this time will be treated as lost and billed for replacement. If you need to use a library item past April 30 for a paper or project, please contact Zelda Patterson immediately (email zeldap@muskingum.edu or phone 826-8156). Library fines not paid and replacement costs for items not returned will be added to your account in the Business Office on Thursday, May 1.

Replacement costs include:
Library items borrowed from OPAL and OhioLINK colleges and universities will be billed at the rate of $125.00 each. Items returned within three months of being billed will be given a $75.00 refund for each item. A billing and processing fee of $50.00 per item will not be refunded. No refunds will be made after an item has been billed for three months.

Library items from the Muskingum College Library will be billed at the rate of $100.00 each. Items returned within three months of being billed will be given an $85.00 refund for each item. A billing fee of $15.00 per item will not be refunded. No refunds will be made after an item has been billed for three months.

Full text resources for those last minute papers

Did you look at the calendar today and freak out? Yeah, classes are over in two and half weeks. No need to have a meltdown because you haven't even begun to think about looking for information. There is still time!

Our full-text resources are the best place to start and they are available 24x7x365. Click on any of the links below to get started. It doesn't matter if you are on-campus or off-campus...well you will need to know your 14 digit bar code number from the back of your ID and click on the off-campus link if given...but that's the only caveat.

Electronic Book Center - 16,000+ current scholarly books and reference books

Humanities E-Books (off-campus) - 1,500 scholarly e-books covering history, humanities, and area studies.

Safari Books Online (off-campus) - 4,000 books in business, computer science, graphic design, and information technology.
